Don’t Get Stuck Without Hot Water
Hot water is integral to your quality of life. It can be easy to take for granted when it is there but becomes a major issue in our lives as soon as it is not. Many homeowners do not consider water heater maintenance, but it can provide you with a great deal of value over the life of your equipment. With proper care, modern water heaters can last for 15 years or more and still run at peak efficiency.

Water Heater Replacement
It is often possible to repair a water heater. But if your water heater is older than a decade and the fix is something more than insignificant, it is time to at least consider a replacement. While a new water heater will certainly cost more upfront, you should look at it from a long-term perspective. The current unit has already given you great value, and the new unit will save you money over the next 10-15 years.
Other Hot Water Heaters We Replace
Our specialists install all types of water heaters, including traditional tank water heaters, tankless water heaters and heat pump water heaters. We work with electric and natural gas water heaters but also those fueled by propane, geothermal energy, and solar energy. You can have us replace your existing system with a newer version of that same technology, or we can carry out a conversion. If you are not sure which water heater type is best for you, we can provide a consultation to help you make that decision.
Tank Water Heaters
The traditional water heater has a tank used to both heat and store a water supply. When hot water is used in the home, cold water is added to the tank, and the thermostat adjusts the heat in order to reach the set temperature. Water heaters can run on electricity or burn natural gas, and there are pros and cons to each approach. Gas is the most cost-effective option over the long term but produces toxic gases that must be vented and monitored. Electric does not produce toxic gases and is cheaper up front but does tend to have a higher total cost of ownership in the end.
Tankless Water Heaters
Also known as on-demand water heaters, tankless water heaters provide hot water as you need it. This does require that you size the unit accurately for household usage, but if you do that, then you have what is effectively a limitless supply of hot water. Tankless systems do cost more upfront, but they can last 20 years or more, are much more energy-efficient, and have a smaller footprint as well.
Heat Pump Water Heater
Heat pumps do not heat water directly but rather transfer heat to it from another energy source, such as the air. Ground source is also an option. Standalone heat pump water heaters are available, but it is much more common to have the hot water system integrated into the HVAC system. As with tank and tankless systems, these water heaters should receive annual water heater maintenance.
